Tommy's Sit-Down

Created by the Clark family 10 years ago
Another memory... this was the night that I was collecting my things and moving out of my parent’s house. I needed help in moving so I called Tommy and he was glad to help. Keep in mind, I was being kicked out of my parent’s house because I didn’t respect their rules and I thought I was all that and a bag of chips. That night, emotions were getting the best of my Mom and me and Tommy in his wise way knew enough to sit us down and have a conversation to help clear the air. What was said that night isn’t quite so important but what WAS important to me is that he cared enough to try to make the situation better between my Mom and me. He stood up for me when I could not. There’s something to be said about a man who will do that for you. It makes him a man, not a mouse. And no one in this room could ever call Tommy Clark a mouse. He was someone who would always try to help you and do what was necessary to bring about a better situation. — Kerry Ann
